Corporate Social Responsibility

Progressive Recruitment Specialists/JobsTT takes Corporate Social Responsibility very seriously.

Over the years we have been contributing to the development of communities and the nation of Trinidad and Tobago through our support to non-governmental and community-based organizations via financial contributions and Employee Volunteerism. The latter encourages employees to contribute their time and effort to the support of these CSR initiatives.

From 2015 we have been contributing to and volunteering at the Gift for Life Foundation, assisting with their Christmas Concerts, distributing gifts to children at children’s homes throughout the country and raising and donating funds.

In 2019 we participated in the United Way National Day of Caring, in addition to contributing financially our team volunteered by giving of their time and talent to assist in repainting of the walls of the Warrenville Presbyterian school.

We are proud to do our part in building a better Trinidad and Tobago.

In 2020, we donated hampers to families in need in remote coastal areas of the country.

In addition we have partnered with the National Alliance of Faith and Justice for their Book Drive , where approximately 150 children of incarcerated men and women will be given school supplies so that they could keep their places in the classroom, focus on their education and stay away from crime and violent behaviour.

Progressive / JTT is also conscious of the impact we make on a global level, particularly through its Carbon Footprint. Recently the team has identified opportunities to reduce its printing and other paper based initiatives.

The long term goal is moving toward a Paperless Office driven by digital processes and procedures which we are on cusp of implementing. Our biggest achievement is incorporating digital signatures into our work flows to reduce the need for printing and signing employee contracts, T&C’s and other agreements.

Going paperless helps to reduce C02 (carbon dioxide) emissions. A tree can only produce, on average, 17 reams of paper, and takes about 100 years to grow. By reducing our paper usage Progressive / JTT can have a direct impact on reducing its carbon footprint.

In 2020, we also:

  •  Offered our clients 50% discounts during the COVID-19 lock down
  • Offered ALL NGOs free postings – Click Here to see video

We are proud to do our part in building a better Trinidad and Tobago.
